What is "Shoulder To Shoulder"?
It is a unique presentation of the Worship Ministry of First Baptist Church Whitehouse, TX. This CD project is unique in that the majority of the songs were written by our own writers here at FBC. Through the original material in this project, we are allowed the opportunity to communicate directly what God is doing in and through the lives of the people within the reaches of this ministry.
This project is a small representation of God's continuing work through the people He has called here. Over the past few years, God has allowed many of our members to communicate His wonderful message of grace, unconditional love, and life-giving truth through original songs of praise, worship, and adoration. All of the singers, instrumentalists, and writers are part of the church family here at FBC. There is a wide age range and musical styles represented on this project. This is a reflection of our diverse yet integrated church body. Our goal through the Worship Ministry here is to use the arts to "bring us together", not "separate and divide". This project will certainly have a broad appeal to all who listen.
The Worship Ministry would like to thank all the members of First Baptist Church, Whitehouse for making this project possible. We would also like to thank everyone for the love and support we receive that encourages all of us to use the gifts God has given us for His service.
